Look for us at several auctions as we are reducing the number of mares in our herd and going to more performance bred stallions for 2008.
We will be taking some of our two year olds to several auctions this spring in April. Keep your eyes peeled. |

We are committed to raising horses to behave like horses. We have bred foundation and performance quarter horse
bloodlines to provide balanced animals to our customers. Our horses range from larger more "ranch" type to
smaller more "performance" type bridging the gap between a ranch and performance horse.
At our ranch our horses live in pastures in a small herd of between 30 and 50 at any given time.
Living in a rough terrain and being pastured on 4,000 acres they learn how to navigate around rocks,
and naturally develop good footing and a sense of balance. All of our horses are handled at a young age
for a variety of reasons. They are up to date on shots, worming, trimming and dentistry so they are gentle
to be caught. Our young horses have space to roam and play, encouraging them to muscle up and putting
the right amount of strain to strengthen ligaments and tendons.
Despite all of the physical benefits of a range lifestyle, what is strengthened the most is their mental acuity.
These horses have grown up with healthy herd mentalities, and have respect for their herd mates. They are self
reliant, and confident in the outside world. They have been exposed to every sort of weather, wild animals,
and ranch machinery. We have horses with fresh minds that have been handled in a nurturing environment.
We offer many options for people looking to buy young horses to help them get the most out of their
purchase. We offer prices for weanlings, yearlings, and two year olds. When you purchase any of these
youngsters you have the option of letting them stay here at the ranch to continue to grow and develop as
part of the herd. We will take care of them in the same manner as our personal horses and will take all
esponsibility in the unlikely event of an injury. Other options include having them transported to your
residence or to a colt starter of your choice. Currently I send many of my two year olds to Joel Eliot
based in Sonoita, AZ to be started. I have several contacts for colt starting and will be able to help
you place your colt with a reputable colt starter. These colts are ideal for a "first colt" if you
want to start a colt yourself.
We currently stand, a grey, son of Playgun, by the
name of TRR BLUE Pistol out
of a granddaughter of Doc Quixote. Many of the mares
in our breeding program are in foal to him. We also
offer Stallion services.
